What is it that pushes someone to cross over to the year-round mentality? I do not know. My decorations are securely tucked away. If you're ever stuck at the San Salvador airport for hours on end, take heart in the fact that one little bar offers decent pupusas (or Cup-a-Soup) if you're so inclined. Excellent fuel for pacing the row (yes, one row) of identical duty-free liquor stores, accented by the occasional hideous Salvadorian trinket shop.
